*** 3-star budget-friendly hotel overlooking Montholon Square in central Paris
Location & Access
The hotel sits a 10-minute walk from Gare du Nord national and international train station. Cadet Metro Station is 150 metres away, providing direct access to major attractions. Guests can walk to Galeries Lafayette department store and Sacré Coeur in 15 minutes.
Rooms & Views
All rooms feature large windows overlooking Montholon Square, offering natural light and a view of the park. Each room has an LCD TV with satellite channels and access to the hotel's free Wi-Fi connection. The rooms are cleaned daily with comfortable beds and pillows reported by guests.
Amenities & Services
A daily buffet breakfast is served in a Mediterranean-themed dining room, included in the room rate. The 24-hour front desk offers luggage storage and a safety deposit box for valuables. A vending machine is available near the reception for snacks and drinks.
Family-Friendly Atmosphere
The hotel is located opposite a park with a playground, providing outdoor space for children. Numerous bakeries, restaurants, and supermarkets are within a short walk, making meal planning easy for families. The staff allows early check-in when possible, and the area is considered safe and walkable to major attractions.
Historical Building
The hotel occupies a renovated 19th-century building that retains its original spiral staircase and cultural aesthetics. A small lift was added later, though guests may need to carry luggage up or down a half flight. The dated layout and narrow corridors add character, distinguishing it from standard chain hotels.
