LA MONDAINE, Paris

La Mondaine occupies a former Parisian maison close, making it the only hotel in Paris with this historical significance. The building's original red doors and a panther carpet in the staircase are preserved from its past as a 19th-century brothel. Each floor features a distinct decor theme, with no two rooms sharing the same design.

The hotel offers 17 rooms across six floors, with three rooms per floor and two larger rooms on the sixth floor. Room 61 faces an internal courtyard and provides a quieter stay than street-facing rooms. Each room is soundproofed and has a private bathroom with a hairdryer and free toiletries, but no television-guests rely on the 24-hour bar for evening entertainment.

A continental and à la carte breakfast is served each morning, with fresh pastries, baguettes, butter, jam, and a hot drink at approximately €15 per person. The on-site bar is open 24 hours, offering wine, champagne, and cocktails. Guests can also order special diet menus and breakfast in the room from the coffee house on site.

La Mondaine is located 15 minutes from Opéra Garnier and near the Moulin Rouge, Galeries Lafayette, and Montmartre. The hotel is two blocks from a metro station, providing access to Gare du Nord (2.6 km) and Gare Saint-Lazare. Pigalle's local restaurants, wine bars, and nightlife surround the hotel.

The hotel is adults-only, ensuring a tranquil environment without children. Services include a 24-hour front desk, concierge, express check-in/check-out, luggage storage, and laundry. Security is provided with CCTV in common areas, smoke alarms, and a safety deposit box, with key card access to the building.
